Meet Our Editors
The people behind petcareport.com are pet lovers first, writers second. Our editors bring a mix of hands-on experience, professional backgrounds, and the kind of obsessive devotion to animals that makes them very fun at parties (and very boring at parties, depending on who you ask).
Sara
Editor
Sara has fostered over 40 dogs and counting — she stopped keeping an exact tally somewhere around foster number 28. She has strong opinions about adoption versus shopping, zero opinions about which breed is "best," and a soft spot for the ones nobody else wants.
Marcus
Editor
Marcus became a bird person entirely by accident when a stray parrot decided his apartment fire escape was a permanent residence. Three years later, he's convinced the bird understands sarcasm. Ornithologists disagree. Marcus does not care.
Devin
Editor
Devin spent six years as a veterinary technician before trading the clinic for a keyboard. She's seen a lot, learned even more, and believe strongly that every pet owner deserves straight answers without the jargon.
Priya
Editor
Priya grew up on a small farm and will take any opportunity to remind you that goats are criminally underappreciated as companion animals. She also writes about dogs, cats, and small pets — but the goat agenda is always there, lurking.
Cole
Editor
Cole's cat, Winston, was supposed to be a temporary foster. That was four years ago. Winston now occupies the best chair in the house, controls the thermostat situation, and has been described by at least two houseguests as "intimidating." Cole is fine with this.
